pH Scale

pH scale is used to describe the acidity of any solutions.
pH is a measure of how acidic is a basic or acid.

The scale ranges from 0 to 14, with acid solutions having a pH value less than 7 and basic solution, greater than 7. Very acidic solutions have a low pH and very basic have a great pH. A neutral solution, like pure water, has a pH of 7.

pH is a logarithmic scale meaning that one unit on the scale equivalent a ten fold change in concentration.
-         pH of 3 is 10 times more acidic than a pH of 4
-         pH of 10 is 100 times less acidic than a ph of 12
