Friar Laurence has set have failed due to Father John's inability to distribute

Romeo of the
affects of the poison due to someone having the plague. Friar Laurence comes up
with a plan to possibly solve this tragic situation. Friar Laurence heads to
Juliet‘s tomb to awaken Juliet and prepare Juliet for Romeo‘s arrival.
Scene III
Paris and
Page arrived in the churchyard outside the Capulet‘s tomb. Paris wanted time
alone with Juliet, so he ordered Page to stay hidden in the distance to warn him
of someone's presence with a whistle. Paris challenges Romeo to a fight but is
killed in the process. As Romeo dies due to the poison he drinks, Friar Laurence
makes his arrival and sees Paris and Romeo dead and Juliet awakening. At this point
the families arrive. Friar Laurence tells the story of Romeo and Juliet’s
marriage. The prince then scolds both
families and both families agree to put their blood feud behind them.
